With the 2006 season now getting underway please don't forget that if you want to race in the Corinthian (all amateur crew) division at Melges 24 events this year you need to ensure your crew members have all obtained or renewed their ISAF Sailor Classifications.
On 8 and 9 April the German Class Association sailed it's first ranking event which was hosted by "Segler Vereinigung Kreuzlingen" and organised by "North Sails Switzerland".

It is with great sadness that we report the death of Mr Shojiro Yamazaki, who died of cancer of the liver on March 19th. Back in 1995 Mr Yamazaki visited Zenda to buy the first Melges 24 to be shipped to Japan.
