Europeans 07 Update

On Thursday, 08th June Henri Samuel and Günter Tzeschlock went to see NRV - the organizing club for the Melges 24 Europeans 2007 - at their base in Hamburg and met a well prepared team who are already aware of most of the demands the Melges 24 class has.
It is also good to know that NRV is in close contact and cooperation with LYC (Lübecker Yacht Club) who have hosted the Worlds 2002.

The German class has set up initial information on their web-page in English which will be constantly updated and actualised until the organisers official web-page will be alive in September 2006. EUROPEANS INFORMATION

The sailing area will be the same as for the Worlds 2002 or a little bit more westerly - the big advantage of Neustadt will be that there will be just 30 minutes from the docks to the racecourse.
