From Denis Infante and the Worlds Organisers - As of today the COYCH has 124 entries for the 2006 Melges 24 World Championship which is just one short of the existing championship entry record set in La Rochelle in 2000.

From Tomi Hakola of Pohjola-Fonecta Finder FIN-573 in Finland - Waiting, waiting and waiting was the name of the game in Mariehamn during the Open Nordic and Finnish Championships, 28.-30.7. First day of the championships was no racing due to the lack of wind.

The top three boats in the Finnish ranking are: Land Rover, Pohjola-Fonecta Finder and Mazda. These all have participated in the 4 events. The difference between Mazda lying third to Land Rover leadin is 10,5 points.
