Finnish & Nordic Ranking Update
The top three boats in the Finnish ranking are: Land Rover, Pohjola-Fonecta Finder and Mazda. These all have participated in the 4 events. The difference between Mazda lying third to Land Rover leadin is 10,5 points. You have to remember that Lenny, EST 646 helmed by Tönu Töniste has only been in three events and has maximum points - 306,5! Lenny not been in ranking 5 due to the fact that they will be in the Worlds the two last events will be really interesting between the top three boats.
Also the new Nordic Melges 24 ranking 2006 (ranking consisting of three races in Finland, one of which being the Nordic Champs in Mariehamn and two in Norway) is at an interesting point after 3 events. In this ranking the top three boats: Lenny, Pohjola-Fonecta Finder and Land Rover have a difference of 5 points. Only Lainisalo FIN 319 partisipating in Norway from Finland the deciding race for this ranking race will be in Tallinn between Töniste, Hakola and Ekblad.
