From Joy Dunigan of the USMCA - Going into day two of the 2007 ACURA Key West Race Week Regatta, Gabrio Zandona at the helm for Giovanni Maspero on "ITA-550 Joe Fly" led the almost entirely European top ten.

We have a number of teams urgently seeking charter boats for the 2007 Fullpower Melges 24 Worlds in Santa Cruz (3-12 May). In particular we have several top European crews would would like to compete but can only do so if they can find good charter boats.

This weekend 48 Melges 24 teams from nine nations across North America and Europe are gathering in the beautiful Florida Keys to prepare for the legendary ACURA Key West Race Week which kicks off on Monday morning.

From Italian Class Secretary Nastasa Avlijas - As far as the Italian class goes, the news is the great weekend we had for the Coppa Italia, with the Volvo prizegiving and the Class party on 8th December. It all started on Friday, with 23 boats, strong winds and a storm coming up!
