IMCA Press Release - With an entry list of 117 teams from a record 16 nations the Volvo Melges 24 World Championship 2008, being hosted by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda from 1-6 June, is all set to be one of the most hotly contested events of the year.
As part of our efforts to improve the administration of the Corinthian entry and registration process we have been working very closely with the ISAF Sailor Classification Commission in the run up to the Volvo Melges 24 World Championship 2008.
The Notice of Race (NOR) for the 2008 Melges 24 North American Championship (NAC) taking place 26 October - 2 November in Annapolis, Maryland is now available.
All Volvo Melges 24 World Championship 2008 competitors are reminded that they will be required to present their measurement certificate during registration. You must present the original certificate - not a photocopy - and the certificate must be in the current owner's name.

From the USMCA - Steve Kopf will assume the role as the Melges 24 Southeast District Governor for the U.S. Melges 24 Class Association (USMCA). This position, was formerly occupied by Reid Collins from Flowery Branch, Ga. who has served the USMCA with great leadership over the last two years.
