The new rules are now in force and we have had the first major event of the year. We are still waiting for supplies of the track stops so the temporary suspension of rules C6.1.6 & C6.2.5 remains in place, but all other rules should now be in force.
The 2008 edition of our fabulous M24 yearbook has now been printed and is wining its way to your class secretaries for distribution as I write. This year's edition is better than ever with some great new articles as well as all the usual news and information we know you rely on.

The recently established International Melges 24 Association of Australia held its first AGM on Thursday 24th Jan at a pub in Geelong.
Three races were scheduled for day two of the three day series. Race three the conditions were 31 degrees with a shifty 5-10 knot breeze from the North. The fleet was lead by Vitesse who managed to pick a big wind shift favouring the left side.
From the Australian Melges 24 Class Association - Fantastic day for racing, winds from the SW at 14-18 knots. In Race six of the Melges 24 National Titles AUS 19 'Matilda" was the leading yacht around every mark, with AUS 746 "No Comment" hot on their stern.
