With the Volvo Cup 2009 series getting underway later this week in Alassio we caught up with Italian Class Secretary Luca Babini for an update on attendance numbers and an exciting new information support system that will be trialed at the event:- "We expect about 55 boats on the starting line.

We have received word from the Hungarian Class today that it has sadly been forced to cancel the planned inaugural Hungarian Open Championship which was due to have been held from 1 - 3 May 2009 on Lake Balaton.
