The Notice of Race for Torbole Melges Week is now available online. This is the next event in the Volvo Cup Series so a great turnout is expected with boats from all over Europe converging on this beautiful Italian Lakes venue.
This week a 62 strong Melges 24 fleet from seven nations is battling it on Lake Guarda in Torbole Melges Week.

The 2006 IMCA World Council AGM will take place on Thursday 24th August in Hyeres. Representatives of each National Melges 24 Class, the IMCA Executive Committee and Melges 24 Builders Representatives will all be in attendance.
From the German Class Association - On weekend 13./14. May the first ever Melges24 Regatta was sailed in Austria. Josef Hackl and the SVK-race-committee organised an excellent event.

After his 2nd place at Cala Galera at the 3rd stage of the Volvo Cup,Philippe Ligot with the Partner & Partners team won the Melges 24 frenchnational at Deauville last week. They took victory in no less than 10 of the 11 races!The week's conditions have been great for this type of racing.
This years championships were hosted by the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club in the picturesque seafaring town of Falmouth. Crews from the 9 boat flight enjoyed the on-set of summer with bright skies and fair winds.
