The International Melges 24 Class Association and Premiere Racing Inc are delighted to announce that North Sails will be supporting the 2001 Melges 24 World Championship, to be held in association with Terra Nova Trading/Yachting Key West Race Week from 20-25 January 2002, as an Associate Sponsor.
To help other Melges 24s go to the Melges 24 Worlds at Key West Race Week my crew and I have worked out a deal where it only costs $400 a person. This includes entry fee ,dockage, and hotel room for the whole week. With this low a dollar figure I cannot afford not to go!
Jacksonville was its usual great self for the Atlantic Coast Championship which saw the fleet enjoy some fantastic racing and some equally fantastic partying.

Although only 7 boats took part in the recent Japanese National Championships, the high level of competition and perfect sunshine made for a fun regatta for all the sailors. Race one started around 8 -10 knot and Siesta found good conditions to take first place.
