At the end of 2008 Reggie Fairchild pulled off a fairly remarkable double, not only was he head of the organising committee for the 2008 US National Championships at Charleston Yacht Club but he also came away from the regatta as the new joint Melges 24 Corinthian US National Champion.

January brings great news from New Zealand where NZ Sail has been appointed as agent for the Melges 24.

The Melges 24 will be on display for the first time ever at the Budapest Boat show in Hungary which runs from 12 - 15 February 2009. X Sailing will be displaying the Melges 24 on their stand number 213A in A pavilion and looks forward to welcoming all visitors interested in Melges 24 sailing.
