The Norwegian Melges 24 Class has confirmed that it has taken the next step for the Melges 24 Class in Northern Europeand established a cup offering some prioritized regattas especially open to and facilitated for the international Melges 24 fleet.
Not only is the Seattle NOOD part of the progressive 2009 SLAM U.S. Championship Series, it also happens to be the coveted Melges 24 Pacific Coast Championship on the International North American Ranking. 2008 produced an awesome turnout and the participation looks to be in great shape for 2009.
Given the large gap in the schedule during the month of June for the US Northeast, the Melges 24 fleet has been cordially invited to attend the Cedar Point One Design regatta on June 6-7 off Westport, Connecticut.
