Sadly the final day of the third 2009 Volvo Cup Regatta in Lerici, Italy, was to be dogged by light winds.

With two days of racing now completed at the Italian Volvo Cup Regatta in Lerici Switzerland's Franco Rossini's Blu Moon team helmed by Flavio Favini is currently leading the regatta with Nicola Celon and Lanfranco Cirillo's Fantstica from Italy second and fellow Italian Luca Valerio helming Maurizi

The online registration system for the 2009 Melges 24 European Championship to be hosted by the COYCH in Hyeres,France from 21-28 August, is now live. The entry deadline is 3 July after which late entries will be subjected to a 30% entry fee surcharge.
