We urgently need your help. Last week the brand new Melges 24 of Cdric de Kervenoael was stolen in La Rochelle. The boat was only recently delivered by Devoti so its going to be easily recognised if you come accross it in a dinghy park or are offered it for sale.
From Adrian Peach, Euros Organiser - We have just run the North Sails Gold Cup as a warm up event to the Melges 24 European Championships with great success, congratulations go to Denis Infante of Euro-voiles with Christiphe Barrue at the helm. (See home page for reports).
From the UK Class - The third and final of the North Sails Gold Cup dawned with not a breath of wind at 0900 hours but gradually the wind filled in and the first race of the day got away at 1042 hours. After 2 rounds Sogeti finished first with Xcellent second and Euro-voiles third.
After the disappointment of no wind at last week's National Championship the Norwegian Class ended their season on a high note with great racing at HM The King's Races.
With one more day of racing to go three boats are tied for the lead in the North Sails UK Gold Cup. - From the UK Class - The first Melges 24 North Sails Gold Cup is being hosted by the Royal Torbay Yacht Club and, it is hoped, will become an annual event.
