The Norwegian Class invite you to join them for the Norwegian Open National Championship from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 August (registration starts on Thursday 21). The event is being hosted by Moss Seilforening which is a fantastic sailing venue approximately 60km south of Oslo.
Lake Lanier Sailing Club held the second annual Quantum Melges 24 United States Southeast Inland Championship on May 17-18 on Lake Lanier, Georgia. The event is an annual stop on the Melges 24 Southeast Circuit and counts toward the overall Southeast Circuit Rankings.
The French Class has launched it's new National Open Championship Web Site which contains all the information you will need to take part in the event which runs from 28-31 August in Hyeres.
The Italian Class Association invites you to join them for the Italian Championship which will take place from 13-15 June at Puntone di Scarlino on the north west coast of Italy. The event is being run in association with Gruppo Vela LNI Follonica.
In a hotley contested fleet local Antigan skipper Dr. Bernie Wong, sailing a Melges 24, took 1st place in the Racing Sport Boat class in Antigua sailing Week 2003.
IMCA Class Secretary Gunter Tzeschlock reports from Torbole Melges Week. The second event of the European Ranking has been sailed on the Lake Garda and was organised by the Circolo Vela Torbole. The club is well known among the Melges sailors at least since the 2000 Europeans.
Tom Knutsen reports from this year's fantastic Musto Ski Yachting Regatta. The 2003 event collected 19 teams, whereof 14 were Melges 24s. The skiing competition on Friday took place in a sloop not far away from Oslo.
