Melges 24 sailors are reminded that the change to Class Rule 2.2 governing crew weights will not come into force until 15 March 2012.
At the IMCA AGM on 19 November 2011 the World Council voted to revise ruleC.7.2.(A)(5) to reduce the hiking line deflection. Although the principle of this rule change was agreed, the exact amount of deflection, if any, could not be decided without further testing.

The first ever "Aarhus Melges 24 Spring Cup 2012" – will be hosted by Aarhus Sailing Club in conjunction with Sailing Aarhus. The cup consists of two seperate events held in the same place - Århus, Denmark.
