It was yet another grand day on the water for the Melges 24 fleet atBacardi Miami Sailing Week (BMSW). Four more races were added to the scoreboard with Flavio Favini at the helm of Franco Rossini'sBlu Moonhanging on for first overall.
The first day of racing atBacardi Miami Sailing Week (BMSW)for the 20+ strong Melges 24 fleet was nothing short of spectacular.
ISAF has now confirmed that the requested changes to Melges 24 Class Rules G.4.2 (jib zip luff), C.7.2 (rear gate line deflection) and C.4 (advertising) have been approved to come into force on 15 March 2012.
What a finale to the Inaugural Riviera and Copyworld Melges 24 South Australian State Titles. The sun shone on an amazing day of racing on the Gulf of St Vincent, Adelaide. Final two races on day three were nail biters.
Melges 24 sailors are reminded that the change to Class Rule 2.2 governing crew weights will not come into force until 15 March 2012.
