The Norwegians were successfully arranged over 3 days last weekend at Moss, 1 hour south of Oslo. Beautiful weather with winds 8-22 knots secured superb sailing conditions. MOSS Sailing Club secured a very high quality of the 10 races over 3 days.
When the Melges 24 was first introduced into the World the early prototype's were fitted with Kevlar sails. At the time Kevlar was the latest thing in sailcloth and matched perfectly with the high Tech design parameters of this Grand Prix Sports Boat.

The Open Norwegian Championship 2003 Melges 24 will take place at Moss, 1 hour south of Oslo, 21. - 24. August. 20-30 boats are expected to compete and the top ranked Norwegian boats will participate.
