ATLANTIC COAST CHAMPS & KING'S DAY REGATTA GET UNDERWAY

Fifty one teams are currently in the process of registering in Jacksonville, Florida, for the 2005 US Atlantic Coast Championship, being held in association with the King's Day Regatta. The line up for the event is terrific with the majority of the crews also competing at the Corum Melges 24 Worlds 2005 in just a couple of weeks time. Racing gets underway tomorrow and concludes Sunday.

Among the Melges 24 teams racing are three-time U.S. National Champion Morgan Reeser at the helm for Neil Sullivan, Jeff Ecklund and Harry Melges, III, 2005 M24 European Champions Joe Fly, James Spithill and two-time Melges 24 World Champion Vince Brun on board with Scott Holmgren. Among the favored Corinthian favorites are Ryan Hamm, Bob Dockery and Reggie Fairchild.
