At the Audi Melges 24 World Championship all the boats are now registered and everyone is set for the start of racing tomorrow morning.
Some seventy Melges 24 teams from nine nations are gathering at the St Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco in preparation for the Audi Melges 24 World Championship, which kicks off on Monday 13 October. The entry roster includes all the leading Melges 24 teams as well as some interesting new faces.

The Norwegians were successfully arranged over 3 days last weekend at Moss, 1 hour south of Oslo. Beautiful weather with winds 8-22 knots secured superb sailing conditions. MOSS Sailing Club secured a very high quality of the 10 races over 3 days.
When the Melges 24 was first introduced into the World the early prototype's were fitted with Kevlar sails. At the time Kevlar was the latest thing in sailcloth and matched perfectly with the high Tech design parameters of this Grand Prix Sports Boat.
