WORLDS ENTRY DEADLINE LOOMING

The deadline for entries for the 2004 Melges 24 Worlds, taking place in Marstrand, Sweden, from 6-13 August 2004, is 12 July so you have less than two weeks to get your entry in and avoid paying the late entry fee. As at today's date 36 entries from 9 nations are confirmed and we anticipate a fleet of at least 80 boats. Shark Kahn has confirmed he will be there to defend his title and amongst those lining up to try and take it from him are Flavio Favini, Keith Musto, Kenneth Thelen, Kristian Nergaard, Kristoffer Spone, Philippe Kahn and Quentin Strauss.

The Swedish Class and the Marstrand Segelsallskap are well ahead in their planning for the event and are looking forward to welcoming the teams to Marstrand in just over a months time. Please remember that accommodation is at a premium for this regatta so not only do you need to get your entry in but you also need to make sure you have all your accommodation and travel arrangements confirmed.
