From The German Class - North Sails Cup, 2-3 April 2005 - The German Class has sailed the first race to count for the LIROS German Ranking 2005. Ten Melges 24s came to Kreuzlingen (Switzerland, Lake Constance) to sail together with 41 sports boats of all different types in the North Sails Cup.
From The German Class Association - This coming weekend the German Class Association will run the first event of the new LIROS German Ranking at Kreuzlingen, Switzerland. The North Sails Cup is the major sports boat event on Lake Constance and the Melges 24 will have its own class.

SNIM 2005 was a classic with great winds, brilliant sunshine, 64 entries and some truly outstanding racing. A total of 12 races were sailed with 10 to count. The overall leader board changed with every race but it was the Italian's who dominated taking the top five places overall.
From Christel Durand of the French Class - Two final races were run on the last day of the almost perfect SNIM 2005 in a Westerly wind of 20-25 knots. A total of 12 races were sailed with 10 to count overall. Racing on the final day was won by Banca BSI (Massimo Bernasconi).
