With half the races complete in the 2005 Corum Melges 24 World Championships, many teams were anxious today to score a top 10 finish and they pushed the envelop at the start. Race 7 saw two general recalls and close to 30 Z flag penalties handed out by the race committee.

With eight of the twelve races now completed the Corinthian (all amateur crew) competition at the Corum Melges 24 Worlds at Ocean Reef is really hotting up.

KEY LARGO, Fla., Dec. 14, 2005 – Two Italian sailing teams are leading the 99-boat fleet after four intense days of racing in the 2005 Corum Melges 24 World Championship at Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo.

With six of the twelve races now completed the Corinthian Division of the Corum Melges 24 Worlds is proving to be just as tough and exciting as the overall competition.

KEY LARGO, Fla., Dec. 13, 2005 Consistency paid off for the Italian boat Marrachech Express which jumped into the points lead at the 2005 Corum Melges 24 World Championship at Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo today after two races in fresh northerly breezes.
