Yachting journalists and top Melges 24 crew Justin Chisholm has previewed the forthcoming Audi 2007 Melges 24 US National Championship on his sailing news web site www.offshorerules.com.

Detroit, Mich. - In one week, some sixty Melges 24 skippers and crews will hit the waters of Lake St. Clair to decide who will be crowned the 2007 Audi Melges 24 U.S. National Champion. With 56 entries received to date, and up to 8 more expected, this will be the largest U.S.

The Comer Homes Melges 24 UK Open Championship will take place from 28-30 September (registration 27 September) at Weymouth in Dorset, the venue for the sailing regatta of the 2012 Olympic and Paralymipc Games.

From Nils Hauff in Norway - The Norwegian Championship was sailed this week-end in Tnsberg south of Oslo. This time the championship was limited to only Norwegian boats because we sailed for The Kings Cup.
