The Notice of Race (NOR) for the 2008 Melges 24 North American Championship (NAC) taking place 26 October - 2 November in Annapolis, Maryland is now available.

All Volvo Melges 24 World Championship 2008 competitors are reminded that they will be required to present their measurement certificate during registration. You must present the original certificate - not a photocopy - and the certificate must be in the current owner's name.

UPDATED AT 09:00 22 MAY - URGENT ATTENTION VOLVO WORLDS COMPETITORS - The following competitors at the Volvo Melges 24 World Championship 2008 have not yet paid their Class Membership fees.

From the USMCA - Steve Kopf will assume the role as the Melges 24 Southeast District Governor for the U.S. Melges 24 Class Association (USMCA). This position, was formerly occupied by Reid Collins from Flowery Branch, Ga. who has served the USMCA with great leadership over the last two years.

North Sails Nord-Est has confirmed that it will be providing a 24 hour sail repair service throughout the Volvo Melges 24 Worlds Championship in Porto Cervo.
