Corpus Christi Yacht Club, Texas will host the 2011 Melges 24 World Championship and as part of the build-up to that event the club is also hosting this year's Melges 24 Texas Gulf Coast Championship to be held May 12-15, 2010.

In challenging conditions on Corio Bay this morning, Bundaberg Rum National Sports Boat Series leader Roger That left nothing to chance by winning the final race at Audi Victoria Week.

The organisers for the forthcoming 2010 Melges 24 World and North American Championships have both now launched Facebook Groups to help keep you regularly updated with all the latest news and developments from the events.

The Melges 24 will be on display at the Dusseldorf Boat Show which starts this Saturday 23 January and runs through until 31 January 2010. The boat, which has been kindly provided by the Dutch Melges 24 dealers Jachtwerf Ruyten, will be displayed in Hall 17 on Stand A58.

The Melges 24 fleet may be a little smaller than usual at this year's Key West Race Week but that hasn't made it any less competitive as the two point spread between the top three boats after the first day of racing shows.
