Melges 24 sailors from at least six states and from as far away as Florida and Utah made the pilgrimage to the boat’s birthplace for the Melges 24 Fall Championship. Lake Geneva delivered lots of the breeze and good times that make the Midwest the place to be in the Fall.
October 12, 2015 - Lake Rapel, Chile - Chilean Melges 24 Class had an Act 2 of the 2015-2016 Melges 24 Ranking Series season on Lake Rapel on Saturday, October 10. With SW wind of 6 to 9 knots the fleet of ten boats completed three very tight races.
October 9, 2015 - Luino, Italy - The diversity of the weather did not prevent the holding of the first races valid for the Coppa Lino Favini, final round of the Audi tron Sailing Series and the Melges 24 European Sailing Series.
25 teams from 9 nations have gathered in Luino to sail the final event of the both series. Morning greeted the sailors with a heavy rain and lack of wind and AP was hoisted ashore.
