Day 1 in Luino - Final Event of the Melges 24 European Sailing Series & Audi tron Sailing Series

25 teams from 9 nations have gathered in Luino to sail the final event of the both series. Morning greeted the sailors with a heavy rain and lack of wind and AP was hoisted ashore. Around 1 pm the fleet went out with a hope that rain will stop and some stronger wind will come to start the racing afternoon.

During the Skippers' Meeting the Commodore of the AVAV and Flavio Favini welcomed the sailors in their club and Luino and Michael Schineis, the Vice President of IM24CA was thanking all the sailors travelling from all the Europe to the final event of the series, where 121 teams from 19 nations have been taking part throughout the season.
