From 21. to 24. June the German Class Association will sail the German Open at Kiel during the famous Kiel Week. Only a small fleet of maximum 20 boats will make its way to Kiel - so the last chance for the Melges24 to be fully integrated in Kiel Week in the next years is gone.
UK National Champion Jamie Lea reports from Torquay! The 2003 Melges 24 National Championships took place in Torquay from the 5th - 8th June and were hosted by the Royal Torbay Yacht Club.
French Class Secretary Magali Jousselin reports from La Rochelle - The 40th La Rochelle Week was a very "French" regatta, with 15 French crews on the starting line. Seven races were run under a bright sun with very warm temperatures.
