From the USMCA - High tech sailing sportswear manufacturer SLAM named title sponsor of 2009 U.S. Melges 24 National Championship Series. Thirty high-spirited events spread across the USA will combine to award 1 overall champion title and 6 district titles. The U.S.

The International Melges 24 Class announced today that the dates for the 2009 Melges 24 World Championship, to be hosted by Eastport Yacht Club, Annapolis, Maryland are now set. The regatta will now take place from October 23 through October 31, a week earlier than originally scheduled.

The French Melges 24 Class has today announced a change of date for the 2009 French Open Championship which will now take place from 21 to 25 May 2009.

Once again the Melges 24 will be on display at the Helsinki Boat Show from 6 to 15 February. The Finnish Melges 24 Class will be displaying the Melges 24 on it's stand number 4a17 and as always will be looking forward to welcoming everyone who is interested in the Melges 24 to their stand.
