The German Class has organised Melges 24 class-flags, size 60 x 90 cm, to be used for race committees or by individual boats "to show the flag" in the harbour. The flags cost 19,00 including shipping in Europe. To place an order or for further info please E-mailinfo@melges24.de.

We all know how competitive the top Melges 24 teams are about brand identity. Each regatta the arms race escalates in the battle for image supremacy. Who has the best van graphics, is wearing the most stylish crew clothing or has the flashiest sticker job on their hull?

Frank Lieve and Hein Ruyten of Melges Netherlands update us on progressin the Netherlands - The exhibited Melges 24 at the Amsterdam HISWA boat-show was successful. Several top-sailors from the Netherlands and Belgium are now on our mail-list.

Federico Michetti's first glimpse of a Melges 24 was in a sailing magazine in the late nineties. By his own admission he was not quite sure what to make of it.
