The MVM Melges24 Spring Regatta 2014 which was alsothe pre-race for the 2014 Europeans ended successfully on April 27 after completing five beautiful races on theLake Balaton with the victory of the British Gill Race Team helmed byGeoffCarveth, representing the Royal Ocean Yachting Association.

Twelve boats including three foreign boats were on the starting line of the MVM Melges24 Spring Regatta, the pre-race of the Melges 24 European Championship 2014 on the Lake Balaton competition organized by the Sports Association of MVM on April 26-27.

Key West, Florida Keys -- Classes and sailors from across the country and around the world already have Quantum Key West 2015 on the winter calendars.

Congratulations are in full order for Melges 24 Charleston Race Week Champion — Bruce Ayres and hisMonsoonteam of Mike Buckley, Jeff Reynolds, Brent Rhune and Jessica Koenig. After three days and seven races, never once did Ayres relinquish his overall lead.

Series ACT 1 is organised by Yacht Club Punta Ala in co-operation with the Italian Sailing Federation, X-35 and Melges 24 Class Associations in Punta Ala on May 23-25, 2014. This year the event will be a part of the important Gavitello D'argento trophy.

Sperry Top-Sider Charleston Race Week started officially on Friday and continues through Sunday, April 11-13. There is fleet of 27 Melges 24 boats competing among 288 boats participating in this huge regatta.
