It's been another frantic day for everyone involved in the Melges 24 Worlds rescheduling which included a 7 way conference call for the IMCA Executive Committee.

The International Melges 24 Class Association today announced that it is looking to reschedule the 2001 Melges 24 World Championship, planned for 8-18 November in Ft Lauderdale.
The 2001 Melges 24 European Championship closed with a very emotional prize giving in which Christina Zuccoli, widow of the late and great Giorgio, presented the new Georgio Zuccoli perpetual trophy to the overall winner Cedric Pouligny and his crew.

The Melges 24 Europeans drew to a close with a final seventh race in Torbole today. Racing started just before 9am in a brisk northerly breeze with most of the overall leaders opting for the left end of the line and the left hand side of the course.
