The 2005 IMCA World Council AGM took place at Hyeres, France on Friday October 28th. Eleven Class and Builder representatives attended the meeting where all aspects of class management were discussed. Full minutes of the meeting will be available shortly.
Fifty one boats from eight nations took part in four fantastic days of racing this weekend at the Novembre a Hyeres regatta incorporating the FFV One-Design Championship of France.
The Finnish Melges 24 ranking was completed after the final event at the beginning of October. In the final regatta Jaguar X-Type had a clear lead after saturday, and the team secured the regatta victory by winning one start today and being second in the other two starts.
With just three more events to go the Italians are heading up the World Ranking with Gabrio Zandona, helming Joe Fly for Giovanni Maspero, leading on 392 points with Andrea Racchelli in second on 383 points.
