Annapolis, Md., one of America's great sailing mecca's is stirring with excitement and preparation as the start of 2008 Melges 24 North American Championship (NAC), hosted by the Eastport Yacht Club (EYC) draws ever closer.

The 2008 Melges 24 Davis Island Yacht Club Regatta has officially been named as the replacement event for the King's Day Regatta/Atlantic Coast Championship. Located in warm and sunny Tampa, Fla.

The third Estonian Open Championship has come to a conclusion in excellent autumn weather here in Tallinn. After the heavy rain fall in the morning the sun started shining from a blue sky. Also the wind picked up from W blowing the whole day appr. 7 to 10 m/s and gusts going over 16 m/s!

The deadline for Corinthian entries at the International Melges 24 North American Championship, hosted by the Eastport Yacht Club has now been extended until Friday, 03 October 2008.
