The UK Class is hard at work generating new interest in the Melges 24 in UK waters and has announced the dates for its new 2009 UK Ranking Series as follows:- May 16-17 - UK Ranking Guernsey - Guernsey Channel IslandsMay 21-25 - French Open Championship - Brest (France)June 20 - Round The Island Rac

Once again the Melges 24 will be on display at the Helsinki Boat Show from 6 to 15 February. The Finnish Melges 24 Class will be displaying the Melges 24 on it's stand number 4a17 and as always will be looking forward to welcoming everyone who is interested in the Melges 24 to their stand.

Jachtwerf Ruyten, the new Melges 24 dealer for the Netherlands, will be displaying a Melges 24 on its stand number 05.100 at the HISWA boat show in Amsterdam. HISWA is one of Europes biggest boat shows and runs from Tuesday 3 - Sunday 8 March.

The 2009 Budapest Boat Show was the first boat show in Europe to host all three popular Melges sportboats on one stand.
