The International Melges 24fleet enjoyed a spectacular conclusion to its inaugural Melges 24 European Sailing Series with a final closely fought regatta in Hanko, Norway.

Congratulations to Italy's Riccardo Simoneschi and his team aboard Audi Ultra on their victory in the 2013 Melges 24 European Sailing Series. Second place went to Rene Brun sailing BNI with John Den Engelsman aboard Mr Henri in third place. Full report to follow shortly. RESULTS

The 2013 International Melges 24 Class Association World Council AGM will take place on Saturday 23 November 2013 in Budapest, Hungary. National Class Associations are reminded that the deadline for submission of nominations and proposals is Friday 28 September.

With 39 teams participating at the Melges 24 European Sailing Series 5/Norwegian Nationals 2013 the event is scheduled to be the second largestMelges 24 event for 2013 in Europe!
