Jachtwerf Ruyten, the new Melges 24 dealer for the Netherlands, will be displaying a Melges 24 on its stand number 05.100 at the HISWA boat show in Amsterdam. HISWA is one of Europes biggest boat shows and runs from Tuesday 3 - Sunday 8 March.

The 2009 Budapest Boat Show was the first boat show in Europe to host all three popular Melges sportboats on one stand.

The 2009 Sperry Top-Sider St Petersburg NOOD has concluded and revealed yet again, Dave Ullman as champion of the Melges 24.

Racing resumed in St. Petersburg at the 2009 Sperry Top-Sider NOOD Regatta with four races, each with its very own winner.

The 2009 Sperry Top-Sider St. Petersburg NOOD got off to a very slow start. The 45-strong fleet went into postponement from the onset of the day. Shortly before 9:00 a.m. the race committee put all on alert that the 9:30 start of day one had been placed on hold due to lack of breeze.
