Last year at the Melges 24 World Championship in Annapolis, Eivind Mellebys Norweigian Full Medal Jacket crew put together a storming performance, culminating in a well deserved third place overall.

Corpus Christi Yacht Club, Texas will host the 2011 Melges 24 World Championship and as part of the build-up to that event the club is also hosting this year's Melges 24 Texas Gulf Coast Championship to be held May 12-15, 2010.

The Melges 24 will be on display at the Dusseldorf Boat Show which starts this Saturday 23 January and runs through until 31 January 2010. The boat, which has been kindly provided by the Dutch Melges 24 dealers Jachtwerf Ruyten, will be displayed in Hall 17 on Stand A58.
