Rochester, NY, USA - 15 September 2010 - In just over a week the cream of the North American Melges 24 Fleet will gather at the Rochester Yacht Club on Lake Ontario to vie for the title of 2010 Melges 24 North American Champion.
In one of the best Norwegian Championships arranged in recent times, the competitive fleet was led around the course by the current World and European Corinthian champions, Storm Capital Sail Race Team.
The International Melges 24 UK National Championships were run alongside the Brewin Dolphin Jersey Regatta from 3rd to 5th September. Conditions tended to be fairly light but the whole series of eleven races was completed successfully.
Tomorrow, Tuesday 31 August 2010, is the entry deadline for the 2010 Melges 24 North American Championship being hosted by the Rochester Yacht Club on Lake Ontario.

The Czech Nationals took place at a brand new marina of YC Kovarov on Lake Lipno, from August 19th till 22nd. The summer weather allowed racing on Thursday and Saturday only, though delivering 8 nice races with dramatic action throughout.
