The Melges 24 Worlds are fast approaching and we are looking forward to it after a great Bacardi Miami Sailing Week! Just a friendly reminder of the Sail22 Melges 24 Corpus Christi Worlds Tuning Event to be held April 30-May 1.
The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht club hosted the fourth Melges 24 Australian Championships over the past four days.

Sadly gales prevented racing on the final day of the opening 2011 Volvo Cup event in Sanremo. With waves breaking over the harbour wall and gusts of up to 36 knots the race committee decided that prudence was the best option and at midday abandoned attempts to run any further racing.
We haven't yet managed to track down a race report for you but we can confirm that after six races UKA UKA Racing helmed by Lorenzo Bressani is leading Bacardi Miami Sailing Week by 11 points from Alan Field sailing WTF with IMCA Chairman Riccardo Simoneschi in Audi third and on equal points with Fi
Day two in Sanremo started off grey and miserable but with a building wind and by the time the fleet reached the race area they had around 25 knots giving ideal conditions for some fast planing and great racing.
