YFA Melges 24s Available for Worlds Charters

YFA, the company that brings us the Czech Melges 24 Tour, has confirmd that two of their fleet of 9 Melges 24s (hull numbers from 692 to 712) are still available for charter for the 2008 Volvo Melges 24 World Championship 2008.

The boats were built during 2007 and are well maintained. During winter 20087/8 all the keels were repainted by Devoti in order to keep the original shape and finish. The hulls are back to immaculate state, rig checked and ropes replaced. The sails are UK North Sails: AP-3 main, J-8 jib and VMG spinnaker. All used 5 regattas on average. New spinnakers are also available.

There is a discount of 10% when chartered without sails.

The boats are delivered in a basic NS tuning and a fine speed: 15th place at Torbole Melges week in CZE703 and 16th place at the 2007 Europeans in CZE711 for a complete rookie team being a proof.

The boats are also available for other major Melges 24 European Ranking Events and for the 2008 Czech Melges Yachting Tour circuit.
