The Fullpower Melges 24 World Championship 2007 gets underway in less than 16 weeks so now is the time to get entered and get organised as the Santa Cruz Yacht Club has set up a fantastic web site with all the information you need including full online entry and registration at WWW.MELGES24WORLDS2007.COM.

As we near the Championship we'll be bringing you regular updates here on www.melges24.com as well as on the event web site.

Santa Cruz is one of the world's most spectacular and friendly sailing venues and we're expecting a great turn out of competitors from across North America and Europe. We're also hoping to have our first Australian owners in attendance and we've also had confirmation that Team Bette, owned Ezio Amadori and helmed by Nicola Celon, will be there to defend their title.

It is going to be a stunning event and I look forward to meeting as many of you there as possible.
