U.S. Melges 24 Class announces 2019 National Ranking Series event line-up
March 4, 2019 - The U.S. Melges 24 Class Association (USM24CA) is proud to announce the long-awaited and much-anticipated National Ranking Series for 2019. The eight-part Series spans the North American continent featuring a wide variety of racing opportunities, from multi-class events to dedicated Melges 24 regattas.
At least one regatta from every U.S. Melges 24 Class district is included on the ranking to give all teams, traveling or otherwise, the chance to participate on an active, nationwide circuit. Marquee championships such as the U.S. Nationals, the North Americans and the Canadian Nationals are included, creating the ultimate Melges 24 "triple-crown".
The following events are the 2019 U.S. Melges 24 National Ranking Series:

March 7-9, hosted by Bacardi and Shake-a-Leg Miami - Miami, FL
EVENT NO. 2: Sperry Charleston Race Week
April 11-14, hosted by Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina - Charleston, SC
EVENT NO. 3: U.S. National Championship
May 22-26, hosted by Fairhope Yacht Club - Fairhope, AL
EVENT NO. 4: NYYC One-Design Regatta
June 29-30, hosted by New York Yacht Club - Newport, RI
EVENT NO. 5: Columbia Gorge One Design Regatta

July 26-28, hosted by Columbia Gorge Racing Association (CGRA) - Cascade Locks, OR
EVENT NO. 6: North American Championship
August 15-18, hosted by Grand Traverse City Yacht Club - Traverse City, MI
EVENT NO. 7: California Cup
