Tomi Hakola Reports From Day Two Of The Aarhus Melges 24 Spring Cup Second Leg

Tomi Hakola brings us a quick report and some photos from day two of the Melges 24 Aarhus Spring Cup in Denmark.

Day 2 wrapped up - beer, sausages and results:-)

On the race course the wind was mainly from SE with a velocity of 3 - 5 m/s. Really shifty conditions but the fleet really in a tight pack in all of races making the sailing action packed.

The leader after day 2 with a steady performance is "Avalanche" NOR478 helmed by Christian Goulignac having 17 points (7,2,3,1,4,2,1,4) overall. Second with 31 points "Rocket Brothers" DEN 612 helmed by Kris Houmann. Third "Blow" NOR 600 helmed by Peder Nergaard with also 31 points.

After racing the fleet was headingto a restaurant in downtown Århus at 20.00.
