TERRA NOVA TRADING KEY WEST RACE WEEK 2003 (20-24 JANUARY)

There really is no where better to be in mid January than Melges Racing in Key West so start making your plans now and be there for 2003. Melges 24s made Key West history with their record breaking World Championship fleet of 77 last January and we expect another terrific turnout this year.

KWRW organisers Premiere-Racing are preparing to welcome returning veterans and new comers to Key West waters between January 20 and 24 2003 and as always they are working really closely with the IMCA to deliver you yet another excellent regatta.

Terra Nova Trading returns as the title sponsor and their excellent Industry Partner Program is in its second year. In particular Mount Gay Rum is celebrating its 300th anniversary with a special raffle details of which will be posted on the event web site.

As part of their commitment to continually improving the regatta Premiere-Racing KWRW 2003 will feature:

· Centralization of all shoreside activities to the Caroline Street site

· Race discard (throw out)

· 9-race series scheduled

· Race managers have the option of a 3-race day should a race day be lost due to adverse weather conditions

· By popular demand following the excellent job they did for us at the Worlds, Dave Brennan and his Coral Gables team will again running the Melges 24 racing.

The Truman Annex Navy Basin facilities will be available again for Melges 24 launching, dry sailing, or dockage (remember to prebook via the event web site).

There will be no increase in entry fees, access cards, or Navy Basin fees in 2003.
