THE SUN IS OUT & THE REGISTRATION TEAM ARE HARD AT WORK IN TRAVEMUENDE

Registration opened this morning for the Melges 24 World Championship in Travemuende, Germany and for the first time in a week the sun has come out. Unfortunately the sun has driven away so practise sailing is not really an option right now.

Fortunately the Lubecker Yacht Club has a superb terrace with a great view across the harbour so those not hard at work putting their boats together are using the opportunity to keep up their fluid intake and exchange tall stories.

Registration, measurement and crew weigh in will take place until Sunday evening and racing commences on Monday morning. Naturally the PRO assures us that the sun will stay out and that we will have 15 knots plus every day!

Here in the press office we are just getting our feet under the table and our kit installed and will be fully up and running from tomorrow so watch this space for all the lastest news, full results and of course the hottest gossip.
