Sperry Charleston Race Week 2015, April 16-19 — Melges 24s On Point For Great Competition

You know Spring is officially here when it is time to race in Charleston at Race Week. Sponsored by Sperry, Charleston promotes the best-of-the-best in one design racing and the Melges 24 Class has 24 bold teams registered! That also means it’s time to get your team and boat ready to have fun.

It’s not too late to get your best buds on the line! The final entry deadline for Charleston is Friday, April 10. Register Online Now for not only the ride of your life but great fun with friends!

In preparation for the event, all registered teams are reminded that class membership is required for competition in Charleston. Every boat must maintain a Full Class Membership. Every driver that is not an owner must carry an Associate Membership (Partner/Charterer/Driver). Have you joined the class this year? If not, please take a moment and do this, then you are all set to race and have fun!

Also know that as part of the registration process, every Melges 24 team will need to check in with the U.S. Melges 24 Class Association Admin, Joy Dunigan onsite in Charleston. Each team needs to not only sign the event waiver for Charleston, but also a Crew Declaration is required by each team in order to be cleared to race.
