POSTPONEMENT of the IM24CA AGM to Sunday, November 17

15 November 2024 - Dear IM24CA World Council members and Executives,

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have decided to move the AGM to Sunday, November 17th.

In my case, I have a funeral that I must attend on Saturday morning, and we have additional Executive Committee members with unforeseen attendance issues.  I do understand that this change will make it harder or impossible for some of you to attend, and I apologise for having to make this decision.

We will have an EGM early next year to discuss proposals for at least the 2026 World and the 2026 European Championships.  If additional issues need to be addressed, we will add them to the agenda when we send the notice.

We have a strong class, and I look forward to talking with you on Sunday and beyond.

National Classes are asked to send to piret@melges24.com a National Class Report as a short summary of your 2024 activities and situation before the AGM, latest on November 15th.  Thank you to the ones who submitted the reports already.

All World Council members and Nations are asked to RSVP and confirm the name of their representatives or proxies and any observers of the AGM at piret@melges24.com by November 15th.   

If a World Council Member cannot attend a meeting, his NCA may only appoint a substitute for that meeting. Such designations shall be in writing and received by the Treasurer/Administrator of the IM24CA before the meeting. Each NCA must inform the IM24CA Treasurer/Administrator of the name of their appointed World Council member or proxy substitute before the start of the AGM.
