OLIVIER PONTHIEU & GPE LUCIENE BARRIERE WIN GRAND PRIX DU CROUESTY

This weekend's Grand Prix Du Crouesty produced one of the closest Melges 24 regattas of the year.
Twenty two entrants battled it out off the beautiful Brittany coast of France in an exciting event which saw the top two
boats only separated on discard after 6 races.

Overall honours eventually went to France's Olivier Ponthieu and his GPE Luciene Barriere crew who finished just two
points ahead of Britain's Paul Lovejoy of The Mutt's Nuts. One point behind Lovejoy was Maxime Paul with Quentin
Struass in fourth and 2001 World Ranking Winner Jamie Lea in fifth.
